Prom dresses from Sherry London

✯ Hello Shiny Stars! ✯

"Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory."

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

It depends on the country whether they are celebrating prom or not but I think there is an event everywhere during high school, college or university that gives you the opportunity to dress up to the nines.
A prom – celebrated mostly in the United States – is a very special moment and to make this moment even more special, you have a wide range of dresses you can choose from. There are different styles, different colours and lengths but the most important is that you need to feel good in it.

All these prom dresses below are from Sherry London, a global online retailer which is located in China and was founded in 2007. They are specialized in evening-, wedding-, prom- and special occasion dresses. They categorised their items so you can shop by style, colour, fit and silhouette, you can choose for example vintage or short prom dresses, which makes it easier for you to find the perfect dress and to „become the queen of the ball at every party”.

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

Karl Lagerfeld once said that you can never go wrong with a little black dress and exactly therefore black prom dresses have definitely a place in my selection of favourites. I chose two, a mini and a maxi. The mini dress (2.) is strapless and has a beautiful sweetheart neckline. It is a combination of a chiffon skirt and a top that is decorated with beads and jewel stones. The long dress (1.) has spaghetti straps and lace details make it unique.
The next one (3.) is a classic, knee-length, black-and-white strapless dress with a nice A-line silhouette.
A champagne coloured long dress (4.) is also a good choice. This one has a lovely A-line, shoulder straps and beaded embellishments make it complete. The outfit that makes you look like a celebrity at the Oscars.
A chic two piece prom dress (5.) should be contanied in my selection too because ensembles are still on trend. I chose a gorgeous floor-length one with cap sleeves. The top is decorated with beads and jewels.
Last but not least a stunning floor-length sleeveless gown with sweetheart neckline which can’t be missed from a list of prom dresses (6.). In this you are definitely in the centre of the event, it is like you just came out from a Disney movie.

Which style do you prefer? Would you choose a mini, midi or maxi dress? Which was the last time you did wear a special occasion dress? As always feel free to leave comment below.

Have a wonderful week.  :)

Lots of love,
E

Did you have fun this summer?

✯ Hello Shiny Stars! ✯

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

"May I never miss a sunset or a rainbow because I am looking down." (Sara June Parker)

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

My latest articles were about festivals, about having fun on your own, with your friends or family. As summer comes to an end many think that the festival season is over but there are still plenty of events waiting for you.
If you are asking yourself the question „Did I have fun this summer?”, what would be your honest answer? Did you visit friends on the weekends, did you have BBQs, did you go for a walk with your girlfriend, boyfriend or alone just to be outside to enjoy the fresh air? Or were you saying again that you have no time for that because of other responsibilities?
During the trips I’ve had, I always saw people especially teens whose first queston is about free wifi. They are at a beautiful place, standing for example next to the Eiffel Tower and they are too busy to enjoy their trip because they need to check if their friends have posted something online. Or in other cases they post photos about themselves in front of a popular building but instead of enjoying the moment, they are staring at their phones to know immediately about a reply or comment.
The expression „FOMO” which is the abbreviation of "Fear of missing out", is already in the Oxford Dictionaries with the following definition: „Anxiety that an exciting or interesting event may currently be happening elsewhere, often aroused by posts seen on social media.”.
I am personally not addicted to any social media and I haven’t been watching TV since so many years but I need to admit that as a blogger if you want to make a proper job, you need to take care of your accounts, especially your emails. Sometimes you get offers and invitations that are only valid for 24 hours. But this isn’t an excuse to be online during an event or on a trip with your friends. It is enough to check your emails once a day and if you are on holiday, you can set up an automatic reply saying when you can respond to the email.
I would say the bigger the city the more the opportunities. In London for example there are plenty of events, many for free. Sites like Eventbrite provide a great way for you to find a festival or an event near you. You can RSVP online and if you want to organise your own event, you can list it on the site as well.
This will be the last weekend of August, so make it fun, find and visit an event near you or plan a weekend with friends or family. Start the autumn trying to avoid the „Fear of missing out” and seeking after opportunities for „Going out more often”. You know, at the end not the material items are worth but the experiences you collected during your way.

Where would you go and what would you do if money wouldn’t make a role? What was the last and what will be the next event or festival you plan to visit? Let me know in the comment section below.

Enjoy the rest of your week.  :)

Lots of love,

Boho outfits from Zaful

✯ Hello Shiny Stars! ✯

"Someone told me there's a girl out there with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair."

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

With the end of summer rapidly approaching, August is flying away and the end of summer festivals is not far off.
Bohemian outfits are great for visiting a festival or for walking at the seaside but if you are styling the items the right way you can even wear them as an everyday outfit.

The boho items below are from Zaful, an online shop that offers women's clothing, shoes and accessories. They "value every single customer and every parcel delivery carefully" and their aim is "to satisfy the needs of every aspiring fashionista".
I noticed that the site has a wide range of medium- and even large-sized clothing but if you need a small-sized, then your search might take longer to find the item that you not only like but it also fits.
From the items I chose, the blouse, the blue maxi dress, the maxi skirt and the shorts are available in sizes S, M and L at the moment. The other items are up for grabs just in bigger sizes.

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

Above you can see some stunning items that you definitely need in your boho outfit collection. Maxi skirts, short and long dresses and of course jewellery which is just as important as the clothing itself. For example the necklace on the picture can add a little extra to every outfit.
To find the items, just click on the numbers or visit Zaful's homepage or social media sites (Instagram, Facebook).

Which item from the selection do you like the most? Do you have a favourite boho piece? Let me know in the comment section below.

Lots of love,

Festival fun in summer

✯ Hello Shiny Stars! ✯

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

"Here’s to the nights that turned into mornings, and the friends who turned into family."

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

We are in the middle of summer and in the middle of festival season which means music, boho outfits, friendship bracelets, braids in the hair and of course having fun.
Maybe the music is the most important but a festival needs more than that to be the best. It must have other programs which can make the festival days really unforgettable. They usually provide the opportunity to try out bungee jumping but there are more ways to entertain visitors.
The following ideas are not just for adults, they are perfect for kids as well and the programs offer a lot of fun.

The water barrel also referred to as water roller ball is fun for everyone. It is usable in the seaside but also in lakes or even in a pool. In this ball it’s possible to „run” on the water. You can try it out alone but it is more fun with a friend together. Falling in the barrel can lead to funny somersaults so the program is definitely filled with laughter.

The water barrels on the picture are from Inflatable-Zone that was established in 2008 and is specialized in big inflatable products like these water roller balls or the bumper balls below but they also have inflatable castles, slides or tramplines for example. If you are a company, it is possible for you to print your own logo on the products for free. Inflatable-Zone offers the products with free shipping by express to the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia & Asia with a door to door sercive to your house. Although you need to take attention that import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price.

The bumper balls above come in a set of 10 and to the package you also receive a free pump, a repair kit and also a carry bag for each ball. Like the water roller ball, it is more fun, when people fall. In these balls you can battle or roll over and all these without any risk of injury to yourself. Bumper balls are very fun for both adults and children – even for those who are just watching the play. Bubble soccer is a great program as a charity event where for example real football players play for a good case. But they are also nice at different events or birthday parties.

Have you ever tried any of these plays? Do you have a favourite festival? What does it make to the best for you?

Have a wonderful week.  :)

Trendy tops from FashionMia and that favourite pair of jeans

✯ Hello Shiny Stars! ✯

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

"You don't have to be perfect to be beautiful."

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

I think we all have our favourite jeans which we somehow refuse to not to wear. They just came out from the washing machine but we are already planning to wear them tomorrow.
The good thing is that with different fashion tops we can always give these favourite pair of jeans a new look.
We can dress them up for almost every occasion: a casual day at work, a date, a weekend-trip or a night out with friends.
We can glam them up with blouses or sequined shirts, combine them with casual tops, pair them with pretty women's tops, one thing is sure, the result will look amazing. The jeans are the same but the style of the outfit is so various.

All items above are from FashionMia (http://www.fashionmia.com/), an online store for modern and affordable tops for women and other clothing. They are "dedicated to delivering high-quality clothing to women that will make them look and feel their best".
You can find these and also other tops online at FashionMia if you browse here: http://www.fashionmia.com/tops-60/
The site offers flash sale and clearance items too. In those sections you can find cheap tops and pretty dresses even for less than $5.

Which style has your favourite pair of jeans? What kind of shirts do you like to wear with them?
Share them or let me know your favourites from the picture in the comment section below.

Have a wonderful week.  :)

Lots of love,
E
