Es ist schon lange her, dass ich einen deutschsprachigen Artikel veröffentlicht habe, so wurde es wirklich Zeit ein Post auf Deutsch zu schreiben.

 

Ein Kleid für ein besonderen Anlass ist ein Muss in dem Kleiderschrank. Es gibt so viele Schnitte, so viele Variante, welche es einerseits einfach, andererseits schwierig machen das perfekte Kleid zu finden. Das Kleid, das entspricht allen unseren Erwartungen, und spiegelt auch unsere Persönlichkeit.

 

MiaBerlin ist ein in 2007 gegründete Online-Geschäft mit einer Werkstatt in China. Sie bieten uns wunderschöne Abendkleider, atemberaubende Kleider für besondere Anlässe, und sogar Hochzeitskleider.

Colour psychology with evening dresses

Long evening dresses have their own beauty and they always look gorgeous. They can be worn mainly at special occasions like a wedding. There are different syles and silhouettes so you can find the one that you feel great in. Try to choose a dress that suits not just your sense of style but also your figure and you will shine.

The colour of the dress is very important. Black, white and nude are always a good choice but there are other  shades which remain classic by evening dresses. Just think of the colours blue, red or burgundy.

To choose the right dress, you need to take account of your eye, hair and skin colour. The dress that looks great on a blonde, whose skin is snow-white doesn’t necessarily suit a brown-haired, suntanned-skinned girl.

However there is surely one colour that you like to wear and you know that it suits you every time you are wearing it. Maybe that will be the right shade for you when you are looking for the perfect evening dress.

Did you know that the colours even have a psychology? It is not for dresses but it might be something that you are interested in to read. So let’s have a look at some colours and their meanings.

   Black: power, elegance.

   White: innocence, purity, cleanness.

   Grey: balance, neutrality.

   Red: energy, love, passion, desire.

   Blue: trust, loyalty.

   Purple: wealth, spirituality.

   Green: growth, health.

   Yellow: optimism, warmth, happiness.

Prom dresses from Sherry London

It depends on the country whether they are celebrating prom or not but I think there is an event everywhere during high school, college or university that gives you the opportunity to dress up to the nines.

A prom – celebrated mostly in the United States – is a very special moment and to make this moment even more special, you have a wide range of dresses you can choose from. There are different styles, different colours and lengths but the most important is that you need to feel good in it.

All these prom dresses below are from Sherry London, a global online retailer which is located in China and was founded in 2007. They are specialized in evening-, wedding-, prom- and special occasion dresses. They categorised their items so you can shop by style, colour, fit and silhouette, you can choose for example vintage or short prom dresses, which makes it easier for you to find the perfect dress and to „become the queen of the ball at every party”.

 Karl Lagerfeld once said that you can never go wrong with a little black dress and exactly therefore black prom dresses have definitely a place in my selection of favourites. I chose two, a mini and a maxi. The mini dress (2.) is strapless and has a beautiful sweetheart neckline. It is a combination of a chiffon skirt and a top that is decorated with beads and jewel stones. The long dress (1.) has spaghetti straps and lace details make it unique.

The next one (3.) is a classic, knee-length, black-and-white strapless dress with a nice A-line silhouette.

A champagne coloured long dress (4.) is also a good choice. This one has a lovely A-line, shoulder straps and beaded embellishments make it complete. The outfit that makes you look like a celebrity at the Oscars.

A chic two piece prom dress (5.) should be contanied in my selection too because ensembles are still on trend. I chose a gorgeous floor-length one with cap sleeves. The top is decorated with beads and jewels.

Last but not least a stunning floor-length sleeveless gown with sweetheart neckline which can’t be missed from a list of prom dresses (6.). In this you are definitely in the centre of the event, it is like you just came out from a Disney movie.

Have you watched the movie „The Wedding Planner” with Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey from the year 2001? It is a romantic comedy  where Mary (Jennifer Lopez) is a wedding planner. To be honest I don’t remember much from the story now but I know that after watching it, I was thinking about to have the same job like her: planning and coordinating wedding ceremonies. I think I don’t need to mention that I am not a wedding planner now but by writing this article I feel a little bit like her. I help you by choosing the right wedding dress. There are so many dresses, so many designs and the newest and the most fashionable dress is not always the dress that fits you the most. I think it is really important to choose the one that you like the most because if you like it, you will feel good in it and that will be seen. You will look beautiful.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you must be familiar with the brand Cocomelody and their lovely wedding dresses. If you are a new reader I want to share their aim with you which sounds „make every dress-shopper happy, no matter what their budget might be”.
