A practical 2-in-1 wardrobe

There are 3 types of dress codes that you can face at your workplace.

 

The first one is when you don't have any dress code at all. This means that you can wear whatever you want to wear.

By the second one you need to wear a uniform - in fact always. This can be provided by the company you are working at, or it can be agreed in for example wearing only jeans and black T-shirts at work.

The third type of dress codes is - I think - the most challenging and most expensive of all. This is where you need to dress up formal.

When you are given a uniform or you can wear the clothes, you are wearing anyway, there is no extra spending. But if you need to wear a different look at your workplace, then you need to invest in a whole new wardrobe - beside your own one of course.

This is why I prefer clothing that somehow turns out to be 2-in-1. Tops which paired with jeans look casual, but with black trousers already elegant. Or dresses that worn with sneakers are great for a walk in the park but with high heels they just look perfect for a meeting.

 

Below I collected some women's skater dresses and tops which could easily fit into the mentioned two-in-one wardrobe.

Wear the shirts with jeans for a stroll in the town or with elegant trousers at the office. 

The shoes and accessories can make a big difference here. They make you able to create the outfit you want to achieve.

Regardless of which time we live in, retro clothing’s had always something special. These clothes amaze us, which makes us to wear them years after they were in vogue.

I personally love to wear „really retro” clothing. I call so for example my sweater with a Mickey Mouse print on it which I got from my mother who was wearing it in her twenties. Or the flared jeans that she wore when she was around 18.  But also the flared sleeved top, I got during high school. To me these are the „really retro” clothing.

People who are wearing clothes that they like, and are not really intereseted in what is actually in fashion, know the feeling when their clothes or accessories suddenly get popular again. This is the moment when people start to wear the same kind of things. However fashion-conscious people will get rid of these items once they are not modish anymore.

If you would like to have some retro clothing but you are not lucky enough to have one from your parents for example, you can choose one from the offer of the stores. They usually have something retro.

At StyleWe or at JustFashionNow you will find some unique clothing. For example some retro swimwear or an off the shoulder peasant top which you can pair with normal or high waisted jeans. Winter is just around the corner and the temperature drops every day. But before taking out the big winter coat, there might be a few days left for cosy fashion tops and nice jackets.

Pair the sweaters with jeans and high heeled ankle boots or wear them with skinny pants or leggings and boots. Single-colours and simple prints allow you to create even an elegant look with the right accessories.

Leather jackets are great because they look perfect for many occasions. With a plain white shirt, jeans and sneakers they are nice for a walk but you can also wear them with a lovely dress and high heels for a night out with your friends.

Overall both men’s and women’s jackets have it common that they can create different styles for you. Wearing the same fashion tops with different jackets can give you a whole new look. Put on a leather jacket, a trench coat or a bomber jacket, you can’t go wrong as long as you choose something that you really like and suits not just your outfit but also your personality.

Different from the average - Plus size clothing

If you are different from the average, it might be difficult for you to find the perfect clothes. If you are short, you’ve probably find yourself in the situation that pants, maxi skirts and maxi dresses are too long for you. Or the opposite, if you are tall, you’ve probably faced the problem, that the same clothes are too short for you. Both make shopping challenging. About naturally small size people I will talk in another post but today we are focusing on plus size clothing. Almost every online store that I visited lately have a section exclusive for plus size women and there are even stores that specialised for selling only that kind of clothing. That makes it easier to find the clothes that fit and are definitely in your size.

Also FashionMia offers you the „Plus size” option where you can find amongst others some plus size tops for women. These trendy plus size tops look great and you don’t need to worry about that they are too small. They usually start at sizes 10-12 and the biggest size varies by the items but it goes up to size 22. I think we all have our favourite jeans which we somehow refuse to not to wear. They just came out from the washing machine but we are already planning to wear them tomorrow.
The good thing is that with different fashion tops we can always give these favourite pair of jeans a new look.
We can dress them up for almost every occasion: a casual day at work, a date, a weekend-trip or a night out with friends.
We can glam them up with blouses or sequined shirts, combine them with casual tops, pair them with pretty women's tops, one thing is sure, the result will look amazing. The jeans are the same but the style of the outfit is so various.
