Almost Famous London

✯ Hello shiny stars! ✯

Two weeks ago I wrote you about my move to London and I added that visiting an event in the city is still missing for me because of the short free time that I have here at the moment.
Well, 2 weeks are not long, but during this time many-many things can happen and sometimes they really happen. And I mean the good things, what about you are talking maybe for years.

It’s a pleasure for me, that I got the opportunity to take part in such a big event like the London Fashion Week. It’s honestly a great feeling to be on a guest list, which is part of the LFW. Wow, still now can’t believe it, but it's the reality: I visited 3 events short time ago, which means 3 posts for you, all of them about the London Fashion Week 2014.

Here is the first post.  :-)

On the 10th of September I had the opportunity to participate in a fun fashion evening at Almost Famous London where we celebrated the LFW. It was a great evening with nice clothes, lovely people, fine cocktails and lots of fun.
And for me this event is very special and really memorable, ’cause it was the very first fashion event that I've ever visited.  :)
Therefore a big thank you to the whole team who made the event possible and thank you for having me.  :)
I will definitely talk about it for years. :)

On this  collage you can see some photos that I made at the event.

I also collected my favourite patterns from the collection.

In the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" there is a famous quote:
"Florals? For spring? Ground breaking."  (Miranda Priestly)
But florals for autumn and winter? I think it's great. I have floral shoes and a floral sweater - and of course for autumn. If the nature is sleeping and there are no flowers out there, why not to light it up with clothes or accessories.  :)
Enjoy my favourite clothes from the Autumn Winter '14 Collection.  :)

We all also got a little goodie bag to take home. Thank you for it.  :)

I hope you enjoyed this post. Part 2 and 3 are coming soon.  :)

Lots of love,

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs French!

✯ Hello shiny stars! ✯

"From this day forward,
You shall not walk alone.
My heart will be your shelter,
And my arms will be your home."

Ashley Tisdale is one of my favourite celebrity. I love her style (she was twice "The Look of the Week" on the blog; see here and here) and I'm really happy about her wedding (September 8).
Honestly she is the most beautiful bride I've ever seen and I'm in love with the photos which she shared on Instagram. They are adorable, so hopefully you won't mind, if I share these pictures here with you.

Congratulations to the couple!  :)

Lots of love,

Update

✯ Hello shiny stars! ✯

You might have noticed that lately we are not often online, we have been late with "The Look of the Week" and we haven't had the time to make other posts, like DIYs. But that all has a reason and we hope, you will  understand that and you stay here on this site as one of our lovely readers.

Back to the reason. If you have read our "Liebster Award" post, maybe you can remember this sentence:
"Sometimes we wish, we could live in London because then we could visit the fashion/blogger events there.".
Well, the first part is correct now. Since a month we live in London which was a very big step forward. It was the first time for us in the UK, we had no friends here, everything and everybody was foreign for us, but already after a week we could find a job and start to work here. But beside an 8-hours-position with 2-2 hours journey, there is not much time left for other things...

I love to write this blog and I really enjoy it, therefore I don't want to quit with it and ask for your patience.
I plan some new things, also a new column, that will launch later, around October. But until then I try my best to be online more often.
With my sister I discussed a lot the blog and we have decided to make it separate in the future. I will write "P&P style" alone and she will concentrate on her own blog, which you can find here.

By the way, have you noticed, that we have exceeded the 100. "The Look of the Week"-post? It's unbelievable, isn't it?

Lots of love,
