Hello 2015!

✯ Hello shiny stars and hello 2015! ✯

Last week we said goodbye to 2014 which was a year full of new experiences.

Since last summer I am writing the blog alone while my sister concentrates on her own blog which you can find here

Reflecting on the year 2014, I can be nothing but pleased.
I am so greatful for having such a great readers. Thank you to all of you for being here and for all those lovely comments I have received. You guys are amazing.  :)
I would also like to say thank you to LeAnn Rimes Cibrian who noticed and answered "The Look of the Week"-tweet. Thanks to Barbara Meier who once retweeted and favorited a tweet and to Pia Miller too, who favorited my tweet.  :)

In July P&P style turned 2 years old and it was like a birthday present that Germany won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The blog has received two awards: in March the Liebster Award and in November the #WEAwards.Thank you for them.  :)

As you probably know I moved to London with my sister where we had the opportunity to attend 3 great fashion events:

- At Almost Famous London we really felt almost famous.
- At The Fast and The Fashionable we met a very talented designer, Kwame Koranteng who has later received the title "Best Male Fashion Designer" at the Beffta Awards  - for the second year running.
- And at the ApuJan SS15 Cocktail Reception we learned a very important thing: it is possible to hear the fashion.

All events were amazing and very memorable but they were not the most viewed entries last year.
Here are your favouirtes, the "Top 3 Posts in 2014" :
1. The Look of the Week with Taylor Swift, Alessandra Ambrosio and Jeannie Hsieh
2. Independence Day with an US-flag inspired collage
3. The Look of the Week with LeAnn Rimes

I hope you all had a great year and I would like to wish you and your family a pleasant, enjoyable and healthy New Year!
Happy 2015!  :)

ApuJan SS15 Cocktail Reception

Here comes the report about the last "London Fashion Week"-event that I visited this September.

I celebrated the new SS15 collection of London based designer Apu Jan with lovely people at a Cocktail Reception (14th of September 2014).
There was a nice atmosphere, delicious snacks and deep conversations about the new blue collection and  I also learned a very important thing that night: it is possible to hear the fashion. Just watch the video below and you will know what I mean.

Let me know in the comment section, how you hear the fashion.  :)

Check out my other LFW-posts here:
(Just click on the titles.)

I hope you enjoyed my reports about the fashion week.

The Fast and The Fashionable

✯ Hello shiny stars! ✯

I know it took me long to get ready with my 2. "London Fashion Week"-post, but it is finally here and I hope, you'll enjoy it.  :)

The second event that I visited was  "The Fast and The Fashionable" at Press Club (12th of September 2014).

At the event there were attended more designers: for clothes, bags, scarfs, socks and shoes.
There was a stage with catwalks (my first experience) and lots of people.

It was a pleasure to meet the very talented designer Kwame Koranteng,
who presented a great collection at that night. I loved his details on the clothes (pictured above right).

I made a collage about this fashion event, hope you like it.  :)

Check out my first LFW-post here.

Lots of love,

Almost Famous London

✯ Hello shiny stars! ✯

Two weeks ago I wrote you about my move to London and I added that visiting an event in the city is still missing for me because of the short free time that I have here at the moment.
Well, 2 weeks are not long, but during this time many-many things can happen and sometimes they really happen. And I mean the good things, what about you are talking maybe for years.

It’s a pleasure for me, that I got the opportunity to take part in such a big event like the London Fashion Week. It’s honestly a great feeling to be on a guest list, which is part of the LFW. Wow, still now can’t believe it, but it's the reality: I visited 3 events short time ago, which means 3 posts for you, all of them about the London Fashion Week 2014.

Here is the first post.  :-)

On the 10th of September I had the opportunity to participate in a fun fashion evening at Almost Famous London where we celebrated the LFW. It was a great evening with nice clothes, lovely people, fine cocktails and lots of fun.
And for me this event is very special and really memorable, ’cause it was the very first fashion event that I've ever visited.  :)
Therefore a big thank you to the whole team who made the event possible and thank you for having me.  :)
I will definitely talk about it for years. :)

On this  collage you can see some photos that I made at the event.

I also collected my favourite patterns from the collection.

In the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" there is a famous quote:
"Florals? For spring? Ground breaking."  (Miranda Priestly)
But florals for autumn and winter? I think it's great. I have floral shoes and a floral sweater - and of course for autumn. If the nature is sleeping and there are no flowers out there, why not to light it up with clothes or accessories.  :)
Enjoy my favourite clothes from the Autumn Winter '14 Collection.  :)

We all also got a little goodie bag to take home. Thank you for it.  :)

I hope you enjoyed this post. Part 2 and 3 are coming soon.  :)

Lots of love,
