The power of quotes

It might happen to you too, that
your thoughts were revolving around just one single thing. A problem, that
probably wouldn’t be a problem, if you could change your attitude about it. But
changing an attitude is hard. Even if it would open new doors and help you to a
solution, you just feel stuck, there is no way out.
In moments like this, there are
sometimes the little things that can help. A sentence in an advertisement or a
magazine, a phrase from a movie, a thought from a lyrics or a quote posted on the
Internet. Even things that were always there, you just didn’t pay attention to
them before.
I believe that quotes really have
a good influence on us. They can cheer us up, they can help us to see our
problem from a different angle, or they just give us the feeling, that we are
not alone in the situation. Writing it down, somebody else felt the same way,
and it is a well-known quote, so there are probably even more people who can
relate to it.
Sometimes this alone can help,
other times you need a new way to look at your situation, an „advice”, a confirmation
that you are able to do it, and you really can do it. And this is exactly what
quotes do. They help us to understand, to find solutions, to learn.

Ashley Tisdale is one of my favourite celebrity. I love her style (she was twice "The Look of the Week" on the blog; see here and here) and I'm really happy about her wedding (September 8).
Honestly she is the most beautiful bride I've ever seen and I'm in love with the photos which she shared on Instagram. They are adorable, so hopefully you won't mind, if I share these pictures here with you.
