P&P style made... a Magazine Star Ornament

We hope everyone, who is reading this, had a beautiful holiday season.  :)

 A few days ago we made a star ornament, which is our next DIY-project shared with you.

You need for this a piece of paper, we used one from an old magazine.

Follow the steps on the picture to get the little trapezes. You need 8-12 pieces of them to make a full star. It depends on you, how many trapezes you want to use. 

You can put the pieces together by placing the two corners of each trapeze into the next trapeze's top "pockets" (see picture).

You can hang up the stars everywhere and not only in time of Christmas. We think, by using different colours, they are a good decoration for every season.  :)

Christmas Gift Ideas under 10 Dollars and „Blogger Christmas 2013”

Time goes by so fast. It’s unbelievable that next week is already December and the first Sunday of Advent. That means, there are just 31 days left until Christmas and it’s time for Christmas shopping! I know, many of you have already finished their gift shopping, but we haven’t started it yet and will leave it to the last minute… as always.  :)  What’s up with you?

Well, our title was >Christmas Gift Ideas under 10 Dollars and „Blogger Christmas 2013”<.

What the first part means, you know already. But what about the second part?

Maybe we are old-fashioned, but we really like to receive letters and postcards. Guess, what is much better. Of course, to get a packet with a present – exactly for you.

We had the idea to have a „Blogger Christmas 2013” together. It is meant to be a collaboration with you. We hope, some of you will be interested and take part in it. First we want to invite European Bloggers, but everyone can register. If we have the opportunity, we mean, there are for example 2 or more Bloggers from the US, we choose you a partner from there, so you can take part too, but there is no guarantee. By bloggers from Europe there is no problem.

How it works? 

* Fill in the Google form.

* Read the email, which you get from us on 2nd December.

* Take a look at the informations, find out what she/he likes. Get ready for the next step. 

* Buy or make (or both) a gift for her/him. It should be within the 10 Dollars budget. If you have something, that cost more, you can send it of course, but you must except, that your gift will be probable under 10 Dollars.

* Post it before 9th December to beat the Christmas rush.

* In return you will receive a gift chosen especially for you from another Blogger.

If you would like to join in, just fill in this Google form before 1st December and you will receive your partner the next day (2nd December) giving you a week to get shopping.

Once you have registred it would be awesome if you would retweet this.

We will using the hashtag #pandpstylebloggerchristmas to keep up the conversation.

Halloween 2013

Did you celebrate Halloween this year?

Who or was were you? What was your costume?

We think, in the world of celebrities Heidi Klum was the best in 2013. The „old” lady was really amazing. =)

We have here Paris Hilton’s costume also and a super easy devil-costume by Alessandra Ambrosio. Red leggings, a red shirt and a headband with horns and you are ready.

We made a Halloween inspired Bat Necklace - not just for Halloween.  :)

To make it, you will need:

- a piece of leather

- 2 jump rings

- scissors

- a piece of chain or yarn or what you prefer.  :)

P&P style made... a Flat Washer Necklace

 It's been a while since our last DIY-post, so it's time to be creative again. :)

We show you a super easy statement necklace idea. It is really inexpensive, we used for example simple metal washers that we found in the garage, but you can buy them at your local hardware store, of course.

To make this necklace you'll need:

- washers (any size you want)

- nail polish (optional)

- jump rings

- flat nosed pliers

- a chain.

How to make it:

1. Lay a bunch of washers out on the table and play with different designs.

2. Paint each metal washer with nail polish and let them dry.

3. Lay the washers out on the table in the design that you want, and jump ring each one together. Use flat nosed pliers to attach the rings together.

4. Put a jump ring on the chain and connect it to the washers.

5. Wear your new necklace.  :)

Es ist eine Weile her seit unser letztes DIY-Post, so ist es Zeit um wieder kreativ zu sein.  :)
Wir zeigen dir eine Idee für eine schöne Geometrie-Kette aus Unterlegscheiben. Es geht ganz einfach und ist sehr preiswert. Die Unterlegscheiben kannst du dir aus einem Baumarkt besorgen, aber wenn du Glück hast - wie wir -, findest du welche in der Garage.

Für die Kette brauchst du:

- Unterlegscheiben (in jeder beliebigen Grösse)

- Nagellack (optional)

- Binderinge

- Flachzange

- Kette.

Anleitung:
1. Nimm ein Paar Unterlegscheiben und bilde verschiedene Kompositionen mit denen.
2. Bemale jede Unterlegscheibe mit Nagellack und lass sie trocknen.
3. Lege die Unterlegscheiben in der gewünschten Form auf den Tisch und verbinde die Teile mit Binderinge. Benutze dabei eine Flachzange.
4. Nimm die Kette und befestige sie mit Binderinge zu den Unterlegscheiben.
5. Trage deine neue Halskette.  :)

Verfertige deine eigene Geometrie-Kette aus Unterlegscheiben, und wie immer, wir würden gerne deine Version sehen, so schicke uns einfach dein Bild.  :)

 It's already autumn and we are ready for nice boots, lovely jumpers, hot chocolate, and coziness.

This summer flower crowns were very popular, but now we show you a new version of them. The colorful leaves inspired us to make an autumn crown.

To make it, you need only a hairband, and some pompons. (You don't know, how to make pompons? Find it simple here.)

Der Herbst ist schon hier, und das bedeutet schöne Stiefel, hübsche Pullis, heisse Schokolade, und Gemütlichkeit.

In diesem Sommer waren Blumenkronen sehr beliebt. Aber jetzt zeigen wir dir 'was anderes. Die bunte Blätter haben uns inspiriert, so haben wir eine herbstliche Version gefertigt.

Um es selber zu machen, brauchst du einen Haarreif und einige Pompons. (Wenn du nicht weisst, wie man Pompons macht, klick einfach hier.)

Chi Chi Javiera Dress: These days are cut out dresses very popular, but we truly like it due to the beaded details.

Chi Chi Callie Dress: The white lace top makes the dress complete and the back of neck fastening with a bow is simple cute.

Chi Chi Candi Dress: Ruched draped detail on front of the dress, ruffled across bust and this is only for £9.99.

Chi Chi Alanza Dress: Chiffon looks always beautiful, the rhinestones shine gorgeous, so it is a perfect evening dress.

Chi Chi Raquel Dress: A little black dress is always a must, so it has of course a place on our list. It looks with the beaded details perfect and the halterneck makes it more unique.

 

Chi Chi Cleo Dress: The collar take us back in time to places we have read about in books. And the ruched criss-cross panel on bust is our favourite.
