With December the cold weather arrived in Europe. It is icy and snowy and if you are not really a winter-person, you probably feel yourself best inside the house in a heated room. Wearing layers is a good idea in this season. You never know how the temperature will be in a building you need to make a visit for example and this way you can make sure that it is neither hot or cold for you.

If you are lucky to live in a place where the winter is mild you can wear a nice poncho over your jumper and you are ready to go. But at other places you need to wear them under your winter coat. There are some sweaters in a style of a poncho which are perfect for layering.

Above you can see some of my favourites. The colours I choose are neutral: grey and black. They can be worn with a lot of other colours and shades. You can create a lazy or an elegant outfit depending on the clothes, shoes and accessories you wear with them. It’s all up to you. All colours have their meanings, their characteristics. White is the most innocent of them. It is the symbol of purity and cleanness. The lightest colour which is worn by most of the brides at traditional weddings.

It represents perfection and also a new beginning. It is said that you might desire to wear white clothing or to surround yourself with white items at times when you are moving in a new direction in your life. These can be situations like moving house, seeking a new career or a new relationship.

Wearing a white maxi dress gives you a pure look. You will shine in the colour of innocence. On the picture below you can see three beautiful women dresses, all in white of course. They are ideal for special occasions but the lace dress in the middle makes a perfect beach ouftit as well.

88 years ago a little mouse was brought into being. A lovely animal, the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company, the first cartoon character with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks created Mickey Mouse in 1928 and his career is still undiminished.

Today, on November 18 we celebrate his birthday. It’s Mickey Mouse Day. With his red shorts, large yellow shoes and white gloves you can find Mickey Mouse almost everywhere. On clothes, shoes, accessories, kitchen supplies, pillow cases, carpets, the list goes on.

I’d like to celebrate this birthday with a themed wishlist where all the items are from Disney Store. There are some Christmas decorations and sweaters on the picture which are just great for the upcoming holidays. Anyway, if anyone wants to surprise me with one of these, please feel free to do it.  ;)

Winter is just around the corner and the temperature drops every day. But before taking out the big winter coat, there might be a few days left for cosy fashion tops and nice jackets.

Pair the sweaters with jeans and high heeled ankle boots or wear them with skinny pants or leggings and boots. Single-colours and simple prints allow you to create even an elegant look with the right accessories.

Leather jackets are great because they look perfect for many occasions. With a plain white shirt, jeans and sneakers they are nice for a walk but you can also wear them with a lovely dress and high heels for a night out with your friends.

Overall both men’s and women’s jackets have it common that they can create different styles for you. Wearing the same fashion tops with different jackets can give you a whole new look. Put on a leather jacket, a trench coat or a bomber jacket, you can’t go wrong as long as you choose something that you really like and suits not just your outfit but also your personality.
